Can this work in an existing building without any structural changes?
Yes. The Algi Hub connects wirelessly to your existing systems over your building network. The Sense sensors mount on the wall. The Bio Wall requires a power connection and a water feed. No structural changes, no downtime during installation.
Does this handle our SECR obligations?
Yes. Platform and Enterprise tiers generate SECR-compliant reports automatically from your live consumption data. The Free tier gives you a property brief from public data and one bill analysis, but not formatted compliance output. If you are a qualifying organisation under UK SECR, the Platform tier covers you.
How does hardware leasing work?
All Algi hardware stays on our books. You pay a monthly operating expense as part of your Enterprise subscription. We handle all maintenance, replacement, and upgrades. If you end the subscription, we collect the equipment. No capital outlay, no depreciation, no asset management.
Do we need the hardware to use the platform?
No. Free and Platform tiers are software only. Most clients start with the platform, use it for six to twelve months to understand their building's baseline, and then decide whether hardware makes sense for their situation. Hardware is the conclusion of the journey, not the entry point.
