We spend most of our lives indoors. Most of those buildings waste energy, cost more to run than they should, and have no idea what conditions are like for the people inside them.

Algi's vision is buildings that cost less to run, waste less, and are better places to be in. We start with energy because it is the most measurable problem and the one with the clearest return on investment. But energy is the beginning, not the destination.

Algi is built by Oxyvias Limited (company number 16560131), a UK company registered in England and Wales. The platform was developed through the Innovate at UWL programme at the University of West London's Westmont Enterprise Hub.

We are a small team solving a large problem. Commercial buildings account for a significant share of UK energy consumption, and most of them have never been systematically analysed. The tools that exist are either too expensive (energy consultants at thousands per year) or too shallow (generic benchmarking without actionable savings). Algi sits in the gap: deep analysis at software prices.

Every number is traceable

Algi does not estimate. Every figure in a property brief comes from a named public data source. Every figure in a savings report comes from a specific line item on your bill. Every compliance report cites its methodology. If we cannot trace a number, we do not show it.

Is Algi an algae company?

Algi started with algae-based air quality research, and the Bio Wall remains part of the product. But the core platform is software: energy bill analysis, compliance reporting, and building monitoring. The name reflects the origin, not the boundary.

How is Algi different from an energy consultant?

An energy consultant charges thousands per year to gather data, run calculations, and write reports. Algi automates that work. Where a legally accredited signature is required (ESOS, EPC), our advisor network provides it at reduced rates because Algi pre-processes the data.
